With so many things to think about and to do much, the last thing in my to do list is going down with a high fever :'(
This came unexpectedly, but I realised it's because I'm having sleepless nights before that. I told ya, banyak sangat mende nak pikir.
But somehow there was a good lining to what happened -- I mean, I didn't expect it coming from my brothers, but they did surprised me somehow ^^
Zaki was due to perform his taekwando skills last Sunday with Adik bersempena their former after school's convocation. I was pretty much okay that morning, cuma a bit moody sebab first day period. Zaki saw me shivered, "
Along okay tak ni?"
I smiled; "
Okay je. Sejuk plak bilik ni."
"
Nah. Pakai jaket kita. Tapi kejap je la. Sebab pasni kita kena pakai untuk show tu."
I wore it, tapi muat sebelah tangan je. It was better than having nothing, I guess. Despite the long sleeved I wore, I shivered as if I was plugged to a vibrator at an extreme speed -_-" Okay, that sounded completely wrong.
Ummi & Ayah came along afterwards and complaint how pale I looked. I told them it was the period pain, nothing much. But a few hours later, I just wished I could find the aircond switch. I slept for awhile despite the whole ruckus of preschoolers made, and managed to stay awake just before Abang & Adik performed.
Since Abang was the senior belt holder among the kids there, he was to do a stunt -- flying over 5 kids and break this playwood before landing. Oh before that, he acted as a snatch thief (hence the jacket) but was somehow kicked ass by this gutsy lil' 'lady' -- comel kot kena terajang dengan handbag kuning hihi.
As I watched him performed the stunt, I was so keji to believe that he won't make it. Please don't ask me why, but 5 kids is like what -- jauh kot nak kena lompat over! So when Zaki succeeded, ha amik kau Kak Long dia yang menjerit semacam lupe diri jap tadi dok mengigil bagai -_-"
He came to me afterwards, beaming proudly -- "
Along tengok tak, tengok tak kita tadi?"
"
Tengok! Gila ah, jauh kot Abang lompat! Terror siot."
"
Heh. Nah, pakai jaket kita balik. Muka Along cam pucat."
Okay please tell me that's not a queue for me to feel touched by his simple gesture?
*sobs*
We went straight home once the Abang & Adik's part to perform ended -- Adik was in Nasyid, Taekwando & played the keyboard -- gila busy artis sorang ni -_-"
I went totally out of the world once I hit the bed, tudung tak bukak, ubat tak makan, terus tidur selubung cam hape je. In the back of my mind I was kinda worried that Ummi would freak out that no one would help her to send Abang back to hostel. Ayah had to go to KL for a course plak, haih. Tapi dah tak larat sungguh time tu, sorry sangat Ummi :'(
I woke up around 7 upon hearing someone at the front door.
Suara Adik, Ummi....and Angah!
Angah came home and helped Ummi to send Abang back!
Ya Allah, Tuhan je tahu how lega I was at that time ^^
Angah came in to the room, touched my forehead and asked; "
Camne leh demam ni, Long?"
Mau rasanya nak nangis dan-dan tu jugak :'(
"
Dah,dah. Jangan nak nangis. Nak Milo?"
I don't feel like drinking but I nodded anyways. He came in a few minutes later with a tray of hot Milo, air suam and a box of Fish o Fillet.
"
Minum ni. Bubur McD habis tadi. Aku nak wat bubur untuk ko tapi tak reti."
"
Takpe."
"
Lepas makan, aku bawak gi klinik k."
"
Hmmm."
So I found out my temperature was 39 degrees -- kalau tak turun the next day, I need to do a blood test. However I was determined to beat the fever out of me coz I felt so depressed & useless being sick,like seriously :'(
Angah tucked me into bed sambil cakap dia balik later that night. He salam-ed and kissed my hand; "
Just in case Along dah tidur nanti, takmau kejutkan."
I meekly said my thanks, especially for coming back even for awhile. I mean, I know he's busy and all, but once awhile I do need his support -- and turns out he do support at the right time when I needed him the most.
Memang Along sengaja pilih gambar yang tak menggambarkan keperibadian mulia korang ^^
